What does bring your own keys mean?
Tellbird talks to the AI provider you choose with your own API key, kept in your Mac's Keychain. You pay the provider for what you use, at their price. Tellbird never sees the key and never adds to the bill.
Can I use it without paying an AI provider?
Transcription can run fully on your Mac with Whisper. Answers need a model: a paid provider, or Ollama running models on your own machine.
How do I pay?

Is there a free trial?
Not yet. When buying opens, this page will say if there is one.
Does it work on Windows?
Not yet. Tellbird is a Mac app today; a Windows version is planned after the Mac app ships.
